ARON SHADBOLT
Founder & Managing Partner
Born in the UK and raised on the French Riviera, Aron is fully bilingual and brings both institutional experience and entrepreneurial focus to Monument Private Office.
He began his career at JLL in Paris before being appointed Head of Valuation & Advisory at Knight Frank France, where he led a team advising institutional and private clients across the country's prime residential markets. He later joined Barnes Family Office as an International Director, working directly with UHNW families on cross-border acquisitions and structuring.
This combination of corporate leadership and private client advisory shapes Monument's approach: the rigour of a global institution, the discretion of a family office and the agility of an independent practice.
Aron holds a postgraduate degree in Real Estate and Wealth Management from IMPI (Kedge Business School) and has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2012.
BEN MOSSES
Partner
Born in Paris and raised in London, Ben brings a distinctive path to private client advisory. He spent over a decade as a professional rugby player, representing England U18 and U20 in the Six Nations and playing Premiership rugby for Bath and Bristol Bears. The discipline, resilience and ability to perform under pressure have shaped his approach to client service.
After rugby, he joined an independent debt advisory on the French Riviera, quickly becoming one of the firm's leading credit advisors, structuring bespoke financing for UHNW clients acquiring luxury real estate, superyachts and aircraft across France, Monaco, the UK and Southern Europe. This built his expertise in complex cross-border lending and his network among private banks and specialist lenders.
Ben holds a First Class Honours degree in Business Management from Newcastle University.
